Taipeh (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die taiwanische Acer Inc. (ISIN US0044342055/ WKN 552863), der weltweit drittgrößte PC-Hersteller, musste im zweiten Quartal angesichts deutlich rückläufiger Absatzpreise bei Notebooks einen Gewinnrückgang ausweisen.
Wie aus einer am Donnerstag veröffentlichten Pressemitteilung hervorgeht, lag der Umsatz im Berichtszeitraum bei 119,1 Mrd. Neue Taiwan-Dollar (TWD), was gegenüber dem Vorjahreswert von 124,8 Mrd. TWD einem Minus von 5 Prozent entspricht. Der Nettogewinn verringerte sich im Vorjahresvergleich auf 2,3 Mrd. TWD, nach 2,9 Mrd. TWD, was einem Minus von 20 Prozent entspricht.
